2026 SPECIAL EVENT GUIDELINES

The following General Guidelines have been prepared by the Rockdale Community Market (herein

referred to as RCM) for the success of the Taco Fest and all vendors who participate in the market. We wish all vendors a great market and great success.

1. Each vendor space is 10x10. Please be a good neighbor and stay inside your space.

2. Outside spaces are located either on concrete or grass. Canopies with weights are recommended.

3. Signage is permitted on the grass along the sidewalk. Please make sure it is well anchored.

4. Vendor’s display backdrops should not exceed 6’ in height. Nothing may be hung or attached to the

building walls (inside or outside).

5. All vendors under the age 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

6. All vendors are expected to keep their booth open for the full duration of the event.

7. No sub-letting, booth sharing or re-leasing of booth space is allowed.

8. Vendors are responsible for collecting and reporting Sales Tax and complying with all Federal, State

and Local Laws, Statutes and Ordinances.

9. Vendors should submit pictures of items to be sold with the application form (or email photographs).

Pictures may be displayed on the RCM Facebook page, or other means of advertising, to showcase

vendor’s products prior to the market. Photocopied pictures will not be accepted.

10. The RCM staff reserves the right to make the final decision regarding display. All items should be in

good taste. No objectionable materials will be accepted. The RCM staff reserves the right to ask any

vendor to remove a specific item or an entire booth for failure to comply with these guidelines. No

refunds will be given.

11. Vendors will display respectful and courteous conduct and use appropriate language at all times

while on property.

12. For vendors selling home-made food items, vendors must review the following website,

http://www.texascottagefoodlaw.com. RCM is not responsible for these matters.

13. Vendors will be assigned staggered arrival times in order to alleviate traffic issues.

14. No vendor vehicles will be parked in the customer parking lot during market hours. The paved

parking lot will be reserved for your customers! Vendor parking will be behind the pavilion in the Classic

Bank parking lots.

15. No open flames are allowed in any booth.

16. Each vendor is responsible for removing their booth and any trash at the end of the day.

17. No refunds will be made after April 15, 2026.

18. Vendors agree that any photographs taken during the Market event may be used by RCM, at RCM's discretion. Any and all photographs may be used to promote or advertise this or future events. RCM staff may interview vendors on the day of the event to stream to social media.

19. By participating in or attending this event, all vendors, participants, and attendees agree to hold

harmless and indemnify the Rockdale Community Market and the City of Rockdale, as well as their

officers, employees, volunteers, and representatives, from and against any and all claims, damages,

losses, liabilities, or expenses arising out of or resulting from participation in this event.
